Five services, one plan: how to choose where to start

Start with whichever piece is losing you the most enquiries today. For most Brampton service businesses that is either the Google Business Profile or the website, and ads come after both are fixed.

The right first service is the one closest to the leak. If people find you but don't call, fix the website. If they never find you on the map, fix the Google Business Profile. If both are sound and you need more volume than organic search can give, add paid ads. Tracking belongs underneath all three from day one.

Brampton.Agency is a marketing and business consulting service for trades and home-service businesses. We don't do the trade work itself. What follows explains each service in a sentence or two, who it suits, and how it fits with the others.

Websites for Brampton service businesses

Your website is where a search or an ad click either becomes a phone call or doesn't. It needs to load quickly on a mid-range phone, say what you do and which parts of Brampton you cover, and put call, text and email within one thumb-tap.

Choose this first if your current site is slow, hard to edit, missing service pages, or simply doesn't tell people how to reach you. Read the full websites service page.

Google Business Profile management

For many local searches, the map listing is the first thing a customer sees, before any website. A complete profile with the right categories, real photos, accurate hours and a steady flow of reviews earns calls directly from the map.

Choose this first if your profile was claimed years ago and never touched, if you appear for the wrong services, or if you have far fewer reviews than the businesses listed beside you. See Google Business Profile management.

Google and Meta ads management

Ads buy attention you haven't earned organically yet. Google search ads catch people who are already looking; Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram reach people before they search, which suits work like landscaping, renovations or seasonal cleaning.

Choose this when the website converts and the profile is in order, and you need more enquiries than organic search delivers. Without those two in place, ads mostly pay to send people somewhere that loses them. Details on ads management.

Call, text and email tracking

Tracking tells you which channel produced each enquiry. It means tracked numbers on the website and in ads, sensible tags in analytics, and a simple log of whether each enquiry became a quoted job.

This is not really optional. Without it, every other decision is a guess. We set it up at the start of any plan; it can also be bought on its own if you want to audit a current agency. See enquiry tracking.

One joined-up marketing plan

The plan is what turns the four pieces above into one system. It sets the order of work, the monthly budget split, the single measure we report against, and who is responsible for each task.

Choose this if you are tired of three vendors blaming each other, or if you want one person to answer for the whole result. Read about the joined-up plan.

A quick way to decide

Answer these four questions honestly:

  1. When you search your main service plus "Brampton" on your phone, does your business appear in the map results? If not, start with the profile.
  2. When you open your own website on that phone, can you find the phone number in under three seconds? If not, start with the website.
  3. Do you know what last month's enquiries cost you, by channel? If not, add tracking whatever else you choose.
  4. Are the first two answers fine, and you still want more work? Then ads are the next step.
Your situation Sensible first step

How the services are priced

Services are delivered inside the Trades.Agency plans, which start at $1,999 per month month-to-month. The pricing page explains what is included at each level. If you'd like a second opinion on what to start with, the first consultation is free; the contact page explains what to send us so the call is useful.

Our guide on what to fix first goes into this decision in much more detail, with worked numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy all five services?

No. Many clients start with one or two and add the rest once the first piece is working. The plan simply makes sure whatever you start with is built to connect to the rest later.

Which service brings calls fastest?

Paid ads can produce calls within days of launch, but only if the page they land on converts. A Google profile clean-up is usually the quickest low-cost win, because the listing already exists and is often half finished.

Can you work with my existing web developer?

Yes, if they can make changes within a reasonable time. We write the brief for what the site needs, and they build it. If changes keep stalling, we'll discuss moving the site.

Do you install or service equipment for customers?

No. We are a marketing and consulting service only. Every service on this page is about how customers find and contact your business.
